BAT LIKES KOBOLD

Zach Weinersmith came up with this tic tac toe variant a few days ago.

I couldn't tell if there was a breaking strategy, so I wrote an AI that plays it. Of course, there's also kobolds. See if you can beat it!

A lot of the people I've shown this game to have made the same comment, which is that it feels like player one is favored. However, at least according to the AI, player two actually has better chances. If both sides play its strategy, the score disparity is expected to grow by 0.03 points in player two's favor every game.

This is actually smaller than the disparity between white and black in chess!
