Genuine question, is there an ending to this or am I just not good enough at the endless runner part to see it?

There's not a proper ending, but the endless runner gets an extra mild visual if you complete it around 4 times and then stay alive for around a minute in one of the endless runner sequences. (I don't remember the exact timings)

Ah, thank you!

absolutely phenomenal! It was tricky to get a handle on the first time, but once I got it, I was hooked-I keep coming back!

This REALLY needs some kind of tutorial, especially for what the controls are. I have no idea what's happening.

Hm, where did you get confused? (Or just everywhere?) There are button prompts during the cube phase, but I think the endless runner has the problem that only one button makes you jump. I'm kinda tempted to just make every button "jump" during that minigame.

The button prompts looked like they were for a controller or something, so on keyboard it was just further confusion. And even then, I had no idea what those buttons actually did, or what my objective was.

Time somehow flew by while playing this... Very enjoyable overall!

The spin sfx did get a bit grating after a while though.

thank you!! glad you enjoyed it. now that you mention it, i kinda agree -- it eventually started to grate on me in playtesting. i think it might mostly be that the volume is too loud? but it could be the tritone in the spin fx is too hardcore.

I knew you were thinking musically! The changed fx feels like a resolution is about to happen but it doesn't

i'm wrong about it being a tritone, incidentally!!! but yeah, the idea is that the basic spins produce something that sounds like a dom7 chord, and it resolves to the chord you hear in the bonus round. the bonus round "summary" noise is a dom7 chord that resolves to the tones from normal gameplay. my hope was that i could motivate people to mash to resolve the tension by getting a bonus round

Oh no this game is super adorable! And came highly recommended by my dragon.

oh man!! i wonder if i know your dragon! glad whoever that is liked it.

It's me; I'm the dragon.

I was also up far too late last night playing this.

I had to ask my dragon if I could play it, and he let me! And it's very good. @_@

my dragon also recommended this one to me,,, and yeah, it's really delightful. glad i came across it!

It looks great, it plays great, and losing does not make me mad or significantly poorer than when i started!!

Also, it definitely gave me kobold feelings, which is both proof a little suggestion goes and long way and a testament to how little that actually means since pressing the Z key has nothing to do with dragons, stealing, cowering, or being small. ^_^

hey, glad you enjoyed it!!

Super addicting! I love how you implemented all the mechanics, the graphics look super cool and the hypnosis aspect is subtle but I love how it reveals itself as you play more and more.

thank you!!!! i tried real hard, i'm glad you liked it!

I uh...played this for longer than expected. It's a good thing the game doesn't save high scores.

Had fun.

oh gosh, i'm glad you liked it enough to play it so much! or felt compelled enough or w/e, since slot machines can be like that!!

Sneaks up on you but gosh, gosh! Gosh.

hey, glad you enjoyed it!!
